Determines the pupils' profile, their academic achievement levels in the multigrade/combination classes, profile of the teachers handling these classes, and present condition of the learning environment. It also examines the relationship between the pupils' academic achievement and: 1) their sex, socioeconomic status, mental ability, 2) the teachers' educational qualification, teaching experience and training/seminars, and 3) the learning environment.
