Examines and determines motivational factors and job characteristics that influence the performance of MSU librarians. It assesses their perceptions of and attitude towards generally established factors of motivation and job characteristics and consequently draws a profile of librarian-respondents on what are perceived to be the most important factors that they consider to be critical to the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
