The study includes: (1) production of downy mildew nursery as inoculation source, (2) planting of corn spreader row, (3) screening of 500 USM inbred lines resistant to Philippine Downy Mildew, and (4) maintaining the Downy Mildew nursery and screening of six USM test materials. Unfavorable environmental condition (continuous heavy rain) and delayed germination were recorded.
