The study shows that increasing N levels significantly increased plant height, number of leaves, number and diameter of slips, fresh weight and dry matter yields, N content of leaves and roots, and percent N recovery at ninety days after planting. In terms of quality for market, levels of 150, 200 and 250 kg N/ha are much preferred. These levels produce better quality of green onion being succulent, leafy and with bigger slip diameter.
