Muslim-Christian integrated housing at the Mindanao State University

Annotation

Evaluation of the psychological consequence of the social experiment of the Mindanao State Univerity on Muslim-Christian integrated student housing. It consists of mixing Muslim and Christian dormitory residents in the campuses, the thrust being on determining the effects of the social experiment on the intergroup attitudes of the participants. Intergroup attitude is defined as the consistent reaction tendencies of an individual towards outgroup members. The data reveal that Muslims and Christians are showing significant positive changes in intergroup attitudes towards one another after exposure to the social experiment with the effect greater in females than in males.
