The study seeks to collect, record, translate and analyze the Manobo folk narratives: myths, legends and folktales. The demographic area of study covers the Libungan and Midsayap municipalities of Cotabato province where a representative Manopo group, who are the Livunganen-Arumanen Manobos mostly converge, particularly in the barangay of Anonang in Midsayap, bargays of Barongis, Grebrona and Sinapanga in Libungan and Libungan town proper.
