The book is a collection of Maguindanaon oral folktales in English translation. Through the collaborative anthropological efforts of Notre Dame University in Cotabato City and University of San Carlos, Cebu City, the publication of the book completes the efforts at preserving in the written word the Maguindanaon and oral tradition and folklore. This collection of stories reflects the unique literary and cultural identity on the Maguindanaons.
