Involves the continuous extraction of alcohol from palm toddy that could be used for alcogas production through the use of an apparatus designed for such a purpose. It has been found that with the abundance of coconut and nipa palm all over the country, a steady supply of alcohol from these plants could be obtained at a more profitable ration than if the palms are confined merely to copra and nipa thatches production. Findings show that the low-cost Apparatus for Alcohol Extraction covered by the R.P. Pat. 1405 s.1980 can effectively separate alcohol from fermented toddy.
