An experiment that determines the following: a) effect of fertilization and liming on the yield of three varieties of sugarcane (Phil. 6607, Phil. 7495, and VMC 71-238) planted on Maapag clay for three cropping years, b) fertilizer requirements of these varieties grown on limed strongly acidic soil, and c) economic benefits of these varieties. Results show that application of lime and fertilizer are insignificant as to tonnage yield and performances of the three varieties differ but not considered statistically significance.
