The natural stocks of macro benthic on the littoral zone of Camiguin are assessed to identify these species and determine their abundance and distribution. A total of thirty-six macrobenthic algae are identified in the littoral zone broken down into nine green algae (Chlorophyta), seven brown algae (Phaeophyta) and twenty red (Rhodophyta). Mantigue Island (STN A) has the highest number of species. The assessment of Camiguin littoral zone shows that the algal community is rich and potential in algal species for seaweed research and production.
