Intellective and non-intellective variables associated with teaching of Reading

Annotation

This study attempts to know the extent of association between the intellective and non-intellective variables and the teaching of reading. It also attempts to find out the association of intellective and non-intellective variables and the performance of teachers, the levels of reading achievement obtained by pupils of the reading teachers. Also determines the extent where the reading achievement scores of these pupils are associated with the intellective and non-intellective variables such as age, sex, religion, ethnic background, educational attainment, number of years of teaching experience and socioeconomic status.
