The study is important background information to teachers using the specimen for classroom activity and maintaining laboratory cultures of the specimen. Furthermore, the data is valuable to high school students using the BSC laboratory manual. The life history, the natality, mortality and population growth rates obtained in this study may serve as informational data for further investigation on the life history or any aspect of planarian study.
