This is a demonstration project conducted at Bokong, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur in 1997-1998 dry season showcasing the most appropriate and cost effective bulb onion production technology from China. Based on results of the demo, this culture method is found to be technically feasible under local condition. ROI for the improved culture ranges from 1,277.49-1,413.86 percent, while the farmers practice are 706.93 percent.
