In support to Gintong Ani Program, technology demonstration projects are conducted in corn growing areas of Region IX to accelerate dissemination and adoption of the new package of technology. Based on the results of the techno-demo under normal growing conditions farmers can easily produce 5.33 t/ha from P-3014 with a net income of P 15,040.00, and 4.88 t/ha from USM Var 10 with a net income of P 7,840.00 as compared to the farmers variety and practices with a yield of 1.84 t/ha and a net income of P820.00/ha.
