Aims to understand the basic concepts of heredity and variation that provides students with understanding and appreciation as to transmission of traits from generation to generation and their interrelation with each other in terms of expression. This study assesses the frequency expression of selected traits in selected groups of students, their nature of populations by determining expected gene frequencies of selected traits, related the occurrence of some diseases as associated with blood types and enabled the students identified the variations on human genetic traits through a designed laboratory activity.
