The study presents findings on the beliefs of Maguindanaons that herbal plants have healing powers. They also believe in the power of spiritual healing. The spiritual healing practices involve the ritual therapy and prayers. There are illnesses where prayers and drawings are used while other illnesses are cured using oil and water accompanied by prayers.
