Discusses the reasons for which Filipino Muslims have rejected the Christians as their brothers. Rejection is said to be their way of maintaining their identity. This attitude has been reinforced by a government policy that promoted the influx of Christians to Muslim areas which resulted in stiff competition for the ownership of the land between the representatives of two different cultures and economic systems. Their refusal to avail themselves of public education which stems from distrust of the education offered is another.
