The study has three objectives: determine the extent of the participation of the wives in the family decision-making find out the area of family decisions Maranao wives play a major role and identify the factors related to family administration. Selected socio-cultural and demographic variables like age, length of marriage, education, gainful employment and social status were assumed to have effects on the degree of participation of Maranao women in the making of family decisions.
