Investigates the factors affecting the attrition rate of pupils in the West Lebak District from school years 1995-1996 to 1999-2000. Reveals that among the four schools, Gestosani Memorial Elementary School has the highest rate of drop-out. Home and social condition, economic, educational, and health factors are found to influence pupils to drop from school.
