Evaluation of some cultural management practices of high soybean yield

Annotation

Findings show no significant difference between the yield of SJ-4 subjected to CFI (Conventional Furrow Irrigation) and SSIS (Sub-Surface Irrigation System). UPL-SY2, on the other hand, subjected to SSIS is significantly higher than the yield of plants subjected to CFI. There is an interaction effect between population density and irrigation of UPL-SY2. The highest yield of 3.2 t/ha is obtained from plots grown at a population density of 500,000 plants/ha and subjected to SSIS while plants at a density of 300,000/ha but subjected to CFI give the lowest yield of 2.7 t/ha. There is no significant difference in the yield of Soybean fertilized at different levels of P and K.
