The study determines the effect of different animal manures on the growth and yield of coffee, the rates of application of the best animal manures for coffee, and the economics of using manures as fertilizer for coffee. Trees applied with any animal manure are found more vigorous than those in the control because of dieback. This is supported by the economic analysis where most of the coffee applied with manure almost had break even in expenses.
