Education as perceived by the illiterates in the municipality of Pandami Sulu

Annotation

The primary objective of this study is to look into education as perceived by the unschooled sector in Pandami, Sulu, particularly in terms of self - improvement, livelihood, and socio - political involvement. The constraints to education are explored along the dimensions of marginality, community, and school. A survey is conducted on their alternatives to school education.
