Presents the findings on the components of cost of tertiary education cost of schooling per child and the factors affecting the family cost of sending a child to tertiary school. Also discusses data on the time contribution of children to home production activities. The findings reveal that the per capita cost of tertiary education per annum is relatively high for Health Sciences and Business and Accountancy. Courses under Arts and Sciences have the lowest per capita cost per annum. Significant factors affecting the cost of tertiary education are type of school attended by the child location of the school, degree enrolled by the child and family income.
