Designing oral communication syllabi for the education students of Southern Christian College

Annotation

The findings show that both student teachers and professional teachers performed most of the oral micro-skills such as: introducing the lesson, asking questions, explaining a concept or concepts by definition, giving example and the like. The study concludes that education students of the SCC need to develop both phonetic and instructional skills and that two speech courses should be offered by the college in response to these needs.
