Annotation

This paper is divided into three parts: the first deals with the general problems relating to the concepts of nation, national identity and national integration, the second shows how these problems arose in the Philippines, while the third deals exclusively with the Muslims, the largest "national minority" group in the Philippines in terms of historical events and contemporary issues.
