A research project that surveys 1,660 rural and urban women in Southern Philippines and to determine the variations of domestic abuse by community economic condition. It identifies household variables that denotes the exercise of power and control and are correlated to the abuse, and correlates episode of abuses to personal traits and situational inducement variables.
