Competitive ability of peanut as influenced by weeding schemes Rottboellia cochinchinensis L

Annotation

The study is divided into two phases. The first phase is on the competitive ability of peanut agent R. cochinchinensis and the second is on the control of weeds in peanut. In the first study, the peanuts seem to compete with weeds in terms of plant height. In the second study, the two best weeding schemes used to control weeds in peanut fields are a combination of hand weeding + off-barring + hilling up and off-barring + hilling up. The use of herbicide is not as effective as the other methods.
