Clay materials from Iligan City and Lanao del Norte are subjected to chemical analysis. A qualitative analysis identifies the metals present in the samples. The alumina silica, iron oxides, oxides of calcium and magnesium are determined quantitatively. The composition of clay samples is compared with the composition of clay types of commercial value.
