The study aims to identify effective fungicides and biological control agents for the control of Phytophthora and Rhizactomia diseases of durian, effective fungicides against Curvularia leaf blight and Scleratium stem rot of jackfruit. Three of the eleven chemical fungicides tested against Phytophthora only, are found effective, and of the four biocontrol agents with chemical standard check tested against the disease, only one is found effective. Seven chemical fungicides are tested against leaf blight and five against stem rot.
