The 11th sighting of the shark in the whole world. This article documents the capture of a megamouth shark, Megachasma pelagios, on 20 February 1998 in Macalajar Bay, Cagayan de Oro City. Proceeds to enumerate and describe the ten previous sightings of this extremely rare species.
