Broodstock development observations and problems encountered

Annotation

A study of the broodstock development of hatchery-bred and pond-reared P. monodon with forty-two female and seventeen male samples. It is observed that those specimens tagged in 1979 survived in close quarters, developed their gonads, and spawned. The same spawners, however, do not spawn a second time and are observed to be generally weak.
