Features the introduction of coco + cacao cropping pattern which is further stratified through Barangay Pilot Production Program in twenty-four cacao growers in 1989 until 1991. Planting of Malaysian cacao seedlings is introduced in 1984 when the price of copra is less than peso per kilo and local "tablea" processors buy cacao beans from plantations outside Camiguin Island.
