The article is a short paper that discusses the conceptualization and process of religious conversion of the Mandaya to Christianity through baptism as viewed by the Mandaya themselves. Through the initial step of baptism, they become Bisaya and interacts with the Christian population and have become active participants in the social framework which is part of the "mainstream of Philippine culture."
