Seeks to understand and describe the policymaking process undertaken by the Aquino government from problem structuring up to the implementation of Republic Act 6734. It analyzes the content of the present government policy on regional autonomy in Muslim Mindanao and compares it with the other policy formula of autonomy and determines the implications of RA 6734 to local autonomy especially in light of the New Local Government Code.
