This study aims to assess the water quality of Pulangi River. Water samples are taken from monitoring stations along the river twice a month from October to December 1998. Parameters like color, odor hardness, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand of the water and the abundance of E. coli and pollution tolerant phytoplankton species are measured.
