This research studies the problems of Maguindanao speakers of English, discovers pronounciation difficulties and thus offers instruction materials to overcome these difficulties. English vowel sounds which pose problems to the Maguindanao learners of English pronounciation are presented. Phonetic charts of both the English language and the Maguindanao dialect, and, a glossary of linguistic terms used in the study are given in the appendix. The study is largely based on secondary materials.
