The computer program developed for the determination of capillary tube length has been shown to be valid and applicable to a variety of inlet conditions-magnitudes of subcooling and various quality of refrigerant. Practically, the computer program is capable of determining the length necessary at any point along the tube as the refrigerant flows and expands through it.
