Abstract:
An additional 24 categories of services will be open this year to greater Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) investment under the Asean Framework Agreement on Services (Afas), which aims to reduce investment barries in the service sector.
The National Council for Peace and Order gave the green light last week for the country to sign an agreement on the services sector at next month's Asean Economic Ministers (AEM) meeting in Myanmar.
