The boxing gym is located about 10 minutes from the beach, thus allowing the boxers to cap their rigorous training with a splash through the clear waters of the Camiguin Island. Camigiuin, a pear-shaped volcanic island at the northern tip of Mindanao, is approximately 90 kilometers from the Cagayan De Oro City.
The province has a land area of 29,187 hectares, the second smallest province in the country, bounded by Bohol sea to the north, Macajalar Bay to the west, Gingoog Bay to south, and Butuan Bay to the east.
