Abstract:
Certain situations in life require immediate medical responses and a fraction of a delay can drastically worsen a person’s condition. The provision of immediate and effective medical care can save a life and prevent serious medical complications particularly in rural or remote communities. This is where ambulance services become immensely important. Ambulance services add functionality to the health system of the country by providing both emergency response and patient transfer. So much so, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) believes that ambulance services as first line in health care can significantly contribute to the health programs of the government.
