Abstract:

A big thrust for LANDBANK is putting the interest back in the agriculture industry by tapping into the potentials of the younger generation. Helping create opportunities that are responsive to their needs—through education, financial or technical assistance for livelihood opportunities and conscious innovation for environmental protection—is what makes LANDBANK’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) worth the collective efforts of its people, institutional partners, and friends.
The first stop was at the Municipality of Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur, for the cash needs of the local government unit’s employees. The mobile ATM, which is ready for deployment, will also cater to the financial requirements of an estimated 350,000 conditional cash transfer beneficiares in the Zamboanga Peninsula and the other mandated clients of the Bank in the region.
