Abstract:

Pursuant to the Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) for the Be Secure Project (ASIA-IEE-12-108), an Environmental
Manual (EM) must be prepared to guide the review of low and medium risk small-scale infrastructure and global climate change adaptation activities, environmentally sound design, and implementation. The Project will focus its infrastructure activities on water supply systems for schools and health facilities in Leyte (Tacloban City) and the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), and repair of damaged systems following hydrological extreme events.
