Abstract:
The country has vast coal resource potential for exploration, development and utilization. Thirteen (13) coal basins exist nationwide.
These coal areas have a total resource potential of 2.4 billion metric tons (MT) and in-situ reserves of 4.4 million
MT. The location of these areas, reserve capacity and corresponding potentials.
