Socioeconomic Report 2014: Assessment and Implications for 2015-2016

Abstract:

This has set the direction for the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), a priority bill turned over by President Aquino to Congress, which shall pave the way for the establishment of the new Bangsamoro political entity replacing the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). Meanwhile, the government has activated and operationalized the Bangsamoro Coordination Forum (BCF), which is bridging the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the MILF Unity and provides a venue for integrating the 1996 GRP- MNLF Final Peace Agreement with the CAB and the BBL.
