Abstract:

For year 2001, there were 14,399,035 households in the entire Philippines. Seventy one percent of the total households or 10,262,572 have sanitary toiletswhile 79% or around 11 million households have access to safe water supply. Region I had the highest percentage of access to safe water while Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao had the lowest with 54.2%.
