Abstract / Excerpt:

This study evaluated the addiction program provided by New Day Recovery Center (NDRC) from the perspective of its residents. It focused particularly on the extent of help perceived and experienced by the residents themselves in relation to be program and its key components in their recovery efforts. The respondents were the twenty-two residents of the addiction treatment program of NDRC. The study provided the annual growing number of admissions of NDRC, the profile of the resident as the respondents, and the extent of help of the program components to the residents. Results revealed that the residents-in-treatment feel that they have been helped by the program to a great extent and their experience was generally positive.
