Abstract / Excerpt:

Objectives: This study aims to achieve the following: 1) To present how much IRA was allocated over the past ten years by the different selected cities in Mindanao (Davao City, General Santos City, and Cagayan De Oro City). 2.) To present and compare the following items for the years 1995-2004: 3) To compare the efficiency of Davao City, General Santos City and Cagayan de Oro City in the utilization of Internal Revenue Allotment in terms of the following indicators: a. Road and bridges for infrastructure b. Infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate for health; c. Graduation rate for education.

Methodology: This chapter captures the following: type of study, locale of the study, data collection, and variable and measures and data analysis.
