Abstract / Excerpt:

The study was conducted to evaluate the implementation of the PCSO Endowment Fund program by the Lung Center of the Philippines. The area of concentration of the evaluation is in terms of the timeliness of assistance, the adequacy of the fund given, and the organizational capability of the hospital to implement the program. There are two levels of the evaluation. The first one is the perception of the implementers. The data was collected through the conduct of interview with guide questions both with patients (beneficiaries) and social workers (implementers). The data was tabulated and analyzed based on the three areas mentioned. The conclusions and recommendations of the study may be utilized both by PCSO and Lung center of the Philippines in terms of program development and improvement.
