Summary of Findings: Majority of the respondents fall above 41 yrs of age. Among these, (81.19%) were female. The relatively high rate of female respondents can be attributed to the chances that they were the once usually left at home. Among the 365 respondents, (83.01%) of them were ever married, having at most 3 to 4 children, with a high percentage of having a family size between 4 to 5 in number. A greater fraction of the respondents had income above 5,000, that is (27.67%) of the whole. Among the earned respondents (40.82%) agreed that their income is enough for the needs of their family. To augment the expenses that each family incurred within the year, (16.99%) were in livestock raising, while (41.64%) did not have any alternative source of income. Among those who have other income generating ventures, (26.85%) agreed that they were contented with it. A big majority of the respondents, that is (98.36%) confirmed that their means of transportation in the area is by riding on the "trisikad", with (55.07%) confirming that they were contented with it. On the aspect of medical services (92.05%) confirmed that their were both private and public health centers, with (48.22%) of the respondents being contented with the services they give to the residents in the area. In terms of waste management by the residents (72.05%) of them were using garbage cans as means of disposing their trash. On the other hand, (51.51%) confirmed that they were frequently visited by the garbage truck collector, with this, (46.85%) of the respondents agreed that they were contented with the method of garbage collection and disposal in their place. (38.63%) attest that they were unaware as to the purpose of the F.P. construction in their area, with (38.63%) believing that the F.P. was intended to improve fish export in the country, (29.50%) believing that it is the Department of Tourism who is handling the operation of the F.P.; (47.12%) believing that the government who will benefit the most from this project. Almost one half of the respondents comprising (45.21%) disagreed that the Fish Port would increase their average income. As to the issue of employment, (52.60%) of the respondents agreed that there will be an increase in employment opportunities if the F.P. would continue its operation; while (52.60%) agreed that it will increase employment, only (41.10%) agreed that the residents of Daliao and Lizada will be employed in the F.P. Majority of the respondents, comprising (70.14%), agreed that the F.P. would develop transportation services; the same proves true; (51.51%) and (73.15%), because the respondents also perceived that health services and infrastructure will develop with the presence of the Fish Port. At most, (40.82%) of the respondents agreed that the F.P will increase water and air pollution, however (78.36%) of the respondents agreed that waste management methodologies will be provided by the government to counter act the effects of pollution in the environment. Moreover, (55.62%) of the respondents also perceived that the marine ecosystem will be taken care of by the Fish Port operators. Most of the variables that were correlated did not exceed the critical value. The results would signify that there were no strong relationship between the resident's perception on the socio-economic factors and the perception on the economic impact of the Fish Port. This rejects majority of the sub-null hypothesis of this study. However, only one variable exceeds that critical value, this accepted the sub-null hypothesis that there is a strong correlation between perceived satisfaction with household appliances and perceived increase in the capacity to buy new appliances.
