Abstract / Excerpt:

The study would like to know if there have been improvements in the lives of these people by evaluating the level of skills acquired in health and the level of skills acquired in literacy among the Blaans. Hence, the study will use the modified Laswell formula of communication: communicator (TFP), message (health and literacy programs) and medium (verbal and print) as the input, receiver as the Blaans and effect as the output of the skills acquired in health and literacy. The level of skills acquired by the respondents will be used in determining the significant difference between the level of skills before and after TFP intervention. Thus, the study will be able to evaluate the output of health and literacy programs.
